Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Quintin Conroy got the match started through his kick off. Jess Melton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill Dunbar, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 3rd minute, Romeo Merchant made a precise shot to the right of Jess Melton. Rebels F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Johnnie Creech's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rueben Farrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Quintin Conroy made a precise shot to the right of Rueben Farrell. TEXASFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jess Melton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Dunbar in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Romeo Merchant managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEXASFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Merchant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jess Melton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Quintin Conroy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rueben Farrell. TEXASFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quintin Conroy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Johnnie Creech's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rueben Farrell was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Tod Barton charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tod Barton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TEXASFC's Tod Barton got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Johnnie Creech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnnie Creech in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rueben Farrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quintin Conroy got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rueben Farrell handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Rueben Farrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintin Conroy in the 36th minute of play. Johnnie Creech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, TEXASFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chase Landis to maneuver through the defense. Jess Melton made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Wade Golden sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Rebels F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin Conroy in the 62nd minute of play forced TEXASFC's goalkeeper Rueben Farrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bill Dunbar charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bill Dunbar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes TEXASFC got a freekick which was hit by Bill Dunbar. In the 67th minute, Quintin Conroy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rueben Farrell. The goal made the score 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in TEXASFC's zone, Quintin Conroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rueben Farrell came out of the goal and Quintin Conroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Johnnie Creech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebels F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnnie Creech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, TEXASFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Barton to maneuver through the defense. Johnnie Creech recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin Conroy in the 85th minute of play forced TEXASFC's goalkeeper Rueben Farrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Curt Lang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, TEXASFC's goalkeeper Rueben Farrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnnie Creech. Rebels F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
