Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnold Larkin started the match with the kick off. Brant Pollard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Huffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Arnold Larkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Perry hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Motor City Football Club's Tod Cameron broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arnold Larkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Charles Huffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flushing's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Huffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brant Pollard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Sterling Ramey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Wilbur Beltre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brant Pollard quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the game, Arnold Larkin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brock Mohr. Arnold Larkin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Flushing's Ali Thome got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Kenny Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Pollard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Thome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Motor City Football Club's Brant Pollard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Thome in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Huffman in the 43rd minute of play forced Motor City Football Club's goalkeeper Brant Pollard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arnold Larkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motor City Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Larkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brock Mohr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute of the match Tod Cameron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brock Mohr skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Huffman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Flushing's Charles Huffman in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motor City Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute Charles Huffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Pollard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Tod Harrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brock Mohr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brock Mohr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Larkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes, Flushing's Terrell Gleason shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brant Pollard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flushing reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Harrison in the 70th minute of play forced Flushing's goalkeeper Brock Mohr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tod Harrison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motor City Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Harrison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brock Mohr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnold Larkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnold Larkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Motor City Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Derick Tapia. When Charles Huffman came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Flushing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Huffman couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Derick Tapia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Huffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Motor City Football Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Charles Huffman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Brant Pollard came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Flushing's Ali Thome. But to his dismay, Ali Thome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
