Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leif Sito took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flushing's Brock Mohr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Sito in the 3rd minute of play. If Duncan Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Son Munson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Duncan Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Charles Huffman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosario Corbin was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Rosario Corbin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Huffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Charles Huffman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ali Thome put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rosario Corbin. Ali Thome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Corbin having to interfere. Duncan Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brock Mohr having to interfere. Duncan Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Leif Sito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coimbra Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Flushing's Charles Huffman in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coimbra Team's goalie prevented a goal. Rosario Corbin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Thome in the 55th minute of play. Brock Mohr was a little too slow when Leif Sito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 62nd match minute, Coimbra Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Spence to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Wilbur Beltre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosario Corbin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Thome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Flushing's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Sito came free, but Brock Mohr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Coimbra Team's Edmundo Stacy got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ali Thome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rosario Corbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenny Edwards during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Flushing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Edwards to maneuver through the defense. Brock Mohr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Sito went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When Flushing's Ali Thome in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coimbra Team's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Coimbra Team booed when Flushing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Edwards didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coimbra Team's Ty Spence shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Brock Mohr but with some difficulty. After 95 played minutes Flushing got a freekick which was hit by Wilbur Beltre. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coimbra Team had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
