The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Leif Sito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Brant Pollard to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Sito in the 7th minute of play forced Motor City Football Club's goalkeeper Brant Pollard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tod Harrison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leif Sito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brant Pollard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Sito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Sterling Ramey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duncan Byrne struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Brant Pollard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coimbra Team. Duncan Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Brant Pollard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duncan Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Brant Pollard made a huge save. Rosario Corbin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brant Pollard didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The supporters of Motor City Football Club booed when Coimbra Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Manley didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnold Larkin made a kick off. If Derick Tapia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 59 in the game by Tod Harrison from a close distance when the talented Rosario Corbin managed to make a qualified save. Coimbra Team's players were relieved. Brant Pollard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duncan Byrne went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Motor City Football Club's Sterling Ramey got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tod Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Corbin having to interfere. Ernie Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ty Spence missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 74 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Brant Pollard right hand side. In the 76th minute Duncan Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Pollard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brant Pollard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Sito went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Motor City Football Club's goalkeeper Brant Pollard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leif Sito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jayson Erwin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Motor City Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tod Cameron in the 98th minute. The corner led Motor City Football Club's Tod Cameron to fire away a dangerous shot which Rosario Corbin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Coimbra Team were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Motor City Football Club for a fine match.
