The Romanguaça FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute, Romanguaça FC's Monte Healy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josh McGee. Josh McGee yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Richie Timmons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walton Ring, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 3-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Marlon Stephenson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Monte Healy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marlon Stephenson might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josh McGee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marlon Stephenson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SLC FC! Richie Timmons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walton Ring, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Tobias Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ben Manning to strike the kick off in the second half. Josh McGee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monte Healy, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Romanguaça FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Curt Reyna hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Monte Healy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romanguaça FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monte Healy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes SLC FC got a freekick which was hit by Kip Wyatt. In the 66th minute, Marlon Stephenson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walton Ring's late challenge caught a Romanguaça FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walton Ring helped the player get up and apologised. Walton Ring hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Romanguaça FC's Monte Healy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josh McGee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 78 minutes into the game, Elliot Robinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SLC FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romanguaça FC the free kick. Elliot Robinson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Marlon Stephenson scored 7-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josh McGee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Romanguaça FC booed when SLC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrone Friend didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Romanguaça FC's Marlon Stephenson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josh McGee was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romanguaça FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
