Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gregory Short made the kick off which started today's match. Woodrow Patrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garry Cormier in the 3rd minute of the match. David McKinnon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Owen Nash read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of S & N Fairway FC booed when Energy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Mathews didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Vaughn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Woodrow Patrick having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garry Cormier in the 13th minute of play forced Energy FC's goalkeeper Woodrow Patrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sanford Carroll's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Owen Nash - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 18th minute. Robbie Vaughn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Woodrow Patrick when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ezra Bliss charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezra Bliss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ezra Bliss hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S & N Fairway FC! Owen Nash went to the wrong direction when Sanford Carroll was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Owen Nash took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David McKinnon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, David McKinnon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Energy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David McKinnon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Energy FC's David McKinnon in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S & N Fairway FC's goalie prevented a goal. If David McKinnon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gregory Short came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Energy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Short couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, S & N Fairway FC's goalkeeper Owen Nash had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David McKinnon. Robbie Vaughn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Woodrow Patrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Steele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Owen Nash read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Gregory Short mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Energy FC and the S & N Fairway FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Energy FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Short. 73 minutes into the game, Bennett Yarbrough was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S & N Fairway FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Energy FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, S & N Fairway FC's Bennett Yarbrough got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Owen Nash showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Short in the 78th minute of the match. If David McKinnon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by David McKinnon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Owen Nash made an important save on a dangerous shot by David McKinnon in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when David McKinnon got free with Owen Nash in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S & N Fairway FC's Robbie Vaughn got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
