He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carbondale FC reached it. Ed Montano's late challenge caught a Carbondale FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ed Montano helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in American Falls FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Robbie Phipps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Dagelet having to interfere. If Oscar Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carbondale FC's Wim Dagelet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Carbondale FC from getting a goal against them. Napoleon Elliott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keenan Barth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes in the game, Oscar Reyes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wim Dagelet having to interfere.
