Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zachariah Daugherty took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Impossible AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariah Daugherty came free, but Kareem Hurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Walter Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palm Springs FC's protests and gave Walter Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Walter Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zachariah Daugherty came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Palm Springs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachariah Daugherty couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Impossible AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hunter Vargas hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Impossible AFC's Rob Albrecht sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thaddeus Carpenter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Walter Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palm Springs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kareem Hurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Devine in the 18th minute of play. Walter Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kareem Hurst having to interfere. Zachariah Daugherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Rob Albrecht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zachariah Daugherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Palm Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Owen Cornelius. In the 31st minute Gregg Ciauri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thaddeus Carpenter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes in the game, Zachariah Daugherty fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kareem Hurst having to interfere. Walter Hernandez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 37th playminute. After 41 played minutes Impossible AFC got a freekick which was hit by Stuart West. If Walter Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariah Daugherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Impossible AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hunter Vargas hit a great ball. Walter Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kareem Hurst having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Albrecht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rob Albrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Devine's late challenge caught a Impossible AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Devine helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Palm Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Devine. Impossible AFC's Kareem Hurst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachariah Daugherty in the 59th minute of play. Kareem Hurst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariah Daugherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachariah Daugherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kareem Hurst having to interfere. Walter Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Impossible AFC's Kareem Hurst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachariah Daugherty in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachariah Daugherty in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kareem Hurst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute Zachariah Daugherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kareem Hurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Impossible AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Stuart West hit a great ball. Art Dill hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Palm Springs FC's Walter Hernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kareem Hurst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 87 minutes into the match, Impossible AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariah Daugherty came free, but Kareem Hurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Walter Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palm Springs FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
