Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reynaldo Redding took the kick off in the first half of the match. Winston Morgan came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Delaware FC's Tony Horne. But to his dismay, Tony Horne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Chicago Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oren Parra to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Chicago Knights booed when Delaware FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Reynaldo Redding took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kristofer Pagan to make any attempt to save it. Edmund Norris charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Norris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Winston Morgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derick Deleon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derick Deleon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Winston Morgan having to make a save. After 30 minutes of play, Chicago Knights's Frankie Wolff made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristofer Pagan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delaware FC's goalkeeper Kristofer Pagan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Delaware FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Redding came free, but Kristofer Pagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 3-2 became the score in the 47th minute when Derick Deleon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Derick Deleon made the kick off in the second half. Winston Morgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derick Deleon's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Delaware FC's zone, Reynaldo Redding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristofer Pagan came out of the goal and Reynaldo Redding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Rich Hodge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristofer Pagan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chicago Knights booed when Delaware FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Reynaldo Redding in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kristofer Pagan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Redding went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Frankie Wolff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristofer Pagan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Redding in the 75th minute of play forced Delaware FC's goalkeeper Kristofer Pagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frankie Wolff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Frankie Wolff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Redding in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristofer Pagan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frankie Wolff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kristofer Pagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Delaware FC's zone, Reynaldo Redding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristofer Pagan came out of the goal and Reynaldo Redding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Delaware FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chicago Knights.
