Vito Oberle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Morgan Goldsmith showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After 7 played minutes Nueva Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Goldsmith. 9 minutes into the game, 4th Republic USA's Phil Dudley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aidan Kirkpatrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phil Dudley in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aidan Kirkpatrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dexter Baez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Nueva Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Goldsmith. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Phil Dudley managed to get in a good position for a shot. 4th Republic USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Phil Dudley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aidan Kirkpatrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Del Locke lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. If Anton Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Vito Oberle managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Nueva Villa FC's Asher Fair fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 minutes, Morgan Goldsmith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueva Villa FC and the 4th Republic USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Nueva Villa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Goldsmith to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Romo made a kick off. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 58th minute, Morgan Goldsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Angelo Eubanks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, 4th Republic USA's Angelo Eubanks got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the 4th Republic USA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nueva Villa FC.
