Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Reynaldo Redding made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 played minutes Phil Dudley rounded Chicago Knights's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The supporters of Chicago Knights booed when 4th Republic USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dexter Baez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4th Republic USA's Vito Oberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane White in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Reynaldo Redding left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chicago Knights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Phil Dudley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Winston Morgan having to make a save. Vito Oberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frankie Wolff in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, 4th Republic USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Finney to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Chicago Knights's Rich Hodge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito Oberle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Vito Oberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Redding, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the 4th Republic USA defense, Rich Hodge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Oberle. The 4th Republic USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Oberle should have stopped the shot. When 4th Republic USA's Phil Dudley in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phil Dudley was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phil Dudley in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winston Morgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 4th Republic USA's Vito Oberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Redding in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to 4th Republic USA getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Angelo Eubanks hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, one of Chicago Knights:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chicago Knights. The referee gave 4th Republic USA a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clayton Albrecht, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chicago Knights's Winston Morgan. 2-3. Vito Oberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Redding in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Chicago Knights's Frankie Wolff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito Oberle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Phil Dudley managed to get in a good position for a shot. 4th Republic USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Phil Dudley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Winston Morgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Eubanks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 89 minutes on the clock, Danial Boyle commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 4th Republic USA! Rolf Finch's late challenge caught a Chicago Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 100th minute of the match, Reynaldo Redding tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vito Oberle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 4th Republic USA's Vito Oberle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 101st minute of the match, managed to save 4th Republic USA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Redding in the 102nd minute of play forced 4th Republic USA's goalkeeper Vito Oberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chicago Knights eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
