A collision led to Delaware FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ruben Grant hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Delaware FC's zone, Anton Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristofer Pagan came out of the goal and Anton Romo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Villa FC's goalkeeper Aidan Kirkpatrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Anton Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristofer Pagan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asher Fair kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Delaware FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derick Deleon to maneuver through the defense. Aidan Kirkpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derick Deleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Weldon Kane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristofer Pagan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Romo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th match minute, Nueva Villa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Goldsmith to maneuver through the defense. Dwight Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sterling McDonough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristofer Pagan having to make a save. Kristofer Pagan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Villa FC's Anton Romo. But to his dismay, Anton Romo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Anton Romo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Delaware FC's Kristofer Pagan. Kristofer Pagan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Delaware FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nueva Villa FC were winning 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Derick Deleon made a kick off. The supporters of Delaware FC booed when Nueva Villa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grady Boyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Romo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Kristofer Pagan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Villa FC. After 55 played minutes Delaware FC got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Gomez. Kristofer Pagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Romo in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Nueva Villa FC's Anton Romo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristofer Pagan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Delaware FC's goalkeeper Kristofer Pagan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sterling McDonough. Sterling McDonough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristofer Pagan having to make a save. Dwight Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Delaware FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Delaware FC's Derick Deleon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Romo in the 74th minute of play forced Delaware FC's goalkeeper Kristofer Pagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Horne kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Ruben Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
