Vito Oberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwight Ryan in the 17th minute of the match. Phil Dudley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristofer Pagan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Eubanks got free with Kristofer Pagan in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristofer Pagan was a little too slow when Angelo Eubanks got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Phil Dudley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristofer Pagan. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 39th minute, Danial Boyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delaware FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Dexter Baez scored to the left of an out of position Kristofer Pagan, making the score, 3-1. The attack was good, but when Dwight Ryan in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 46 minutes into the game, Delaware FC's Tony Horne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phil Dudley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Delaware FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Leach to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Phil Dudley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristofer Pagan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phil Dudley went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 63 minutes, Angelo Eubanks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 4th Republic USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Eubanks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendon Sandoval in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristofer Pagan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes, Reggie Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delaware FC and the 4th Republic USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 4th Republic USA booed when Delaware FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Phil Dudley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristofer Pagan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristofer Pagan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phil Dudley's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Ruben Grant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito Oberle having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, Angelo Eubanks notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Delaware FC's Kristofer Pagan. Kristofer Pagan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brendon Sandoval's late challenge caught a Delaware FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brendon Sandoval helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 4th Republic USA's Brendon Sandoval got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Angelo Eubanks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 4th Republic USA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delaware FC the free kick. Angelo Eubanks hit a great ball. 4th Republic USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
