Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chicago Knights's Reynaldo Redding started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sterling McDonough in the 5th minute of play forced Chicago Knights's goalkeeper Winston Morgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aidan Kirkpatrick made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Frankie Wolff sent off a good shot on target. Frankie Wolff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Morgan Goldsmith hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Reynaldo Redding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Redding in the 21st minute of play forced Nueva Villa FC's goalkeeper Aidan Kirkpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Frankie Wolff came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Chicago Knights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Wolff couldn't finish the play. When Asher Fair fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Villa FC's protests and gave Asher Fair a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Nueva Villa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asher Fair to maneuver through the defense. Aidan Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Redding in the 28th minute of play. Winston Morgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sterling McDonough in the 29th minute of play. Anton Romo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Winston Morgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Villa FC. 37 minutes into the game, Sonny Carbajal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chicago Knights's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueva Villa FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chicago Knights's Sonny Carbajal got a free kick in the 37th minute. Sean Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 played minutes Nueva Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard Holcomb. Deshawn Mott came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aidan Kirkpatrick could save by the left post. If Reynaldo Redding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Sterling McDonough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Villa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sterling McDonough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Romo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Nueva Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Wolff came free, but Aidan Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nueva Villa FC's Morgan Goldsmith got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Reynaldo Redding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nueva Villa FC's Weldon Kane got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nueva Villa FC's Anton Romo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nueva Villa FC's Aidan Kirkpatrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Redding in the 71st minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Anton Romo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Winston Morgan. Anton Romo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 80th minute, Nueva Villa FC's Anton Romo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Frankie Wolff might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aidan Kirkpatrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frankie Wolff ran back to his position shaking his head. Frankie Wolff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aidan Kirkpatrick having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Villa FC's zone, Frankie Wolff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aidan Kirkpatrick came out of the goal and Frankie Wolff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frankie Wolff might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aidan Kirkpatrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frankie Wolff ran back to his position shaking his head. Aidan Kirkpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Wolff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chicago Knights's Winston Morgan got control of the ball when Sterling McDonough tried to sneak it across the goal line.
