Wallingford AFC's Darell Murdock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Taylor in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wallingford AFC's goalkeeper Darell Murdock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Wallingford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Murry to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes, Wallingford AFC's Jay Booker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jess Estrada came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wallingford AFC reached it. Jess Estrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Gee in the 17th minute of the match. When Domenic Lockhart came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Wallingford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenic Lockhart couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Tapıl Street's goalkeeper Jess Estrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenic Lockhart. When Rhett Crocker fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapıl Street's protests and gave Rhett Crocker a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wallingford AFC booed when Tapıl Street was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhett Crocker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Jonathan Gee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallingford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Gee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jess Estrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Tapıl Street's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Gee came free, but Jess Estrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darell Murdock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louie Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Maurice Hancock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tapıl Street's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wallingford AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tapıl Street's Maurice Hancock got a free kick in the 29th minute. Darell Murdock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Taylor in the 38th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Gee to strike the kick off in the second half. If Domenic Lockhart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Gee in the 56th minute of play forced Tapıl Street's goalkeeper Jess Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wallingford AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Louie Taylor scored to the left of an out of position Darell Murdock, making the score, 0-1. After 64 minutes, Louie Taylor made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Wallingford AFC's Darell Murdock tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurice Calvert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Jonathan Gee came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Wallingford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Gee couldn't finish the play. If Louie Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louie Taylor got free with Darell Murdock in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Tapıl Street supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tapıl Street would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
