Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Will Frederick took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Paquette in the 3rd minute of play forced Carlyle's goalkeeper Vern Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Juventus's Roman Cain in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carlyle's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the game, Dallas Cangiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carlyle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus the free kick. The supporters of Juventus booed when Carlyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dallas Cangiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Will Frederick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bill Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlyle's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Orozco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Hopper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bill Orozco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Carlyle's zone, Roman Cain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vern Crowe came out of the goal and Roman Cain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Will Frederick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Hopper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 39 played minutes Carlyle got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Keane. Carlyle's Vern Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Cain in the 41st minute of play. Ruben Hopper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Frederick in the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Craig Tillman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus and the Carlyle players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Bill Orozco came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Carlyle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bill Orozco couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danny Evans was the one to do the kick off. Denis Paquette's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Vern Crowe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ruben Hopper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Frederick's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Carlyle's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Evans came free, but Vern Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Carlyle's goalkeeper Vern Crowe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Cain. In the 67th minute Danny Evans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vern Crowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Carlyle's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Evans came free, but Vern Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Cain scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vern Crowe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 86 minutes, Roman Cain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Cain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Juventus a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by DeMarcus Agoos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carlyle's Vern Crowe. 1-3. The Carlyle supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Juventus's performance. The match ended with a win for Juventus.
