Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mohnton's Fernando Malone started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mohnton's Tyrone Kenny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Cagle in the 7th minute of play. Phillip Cage hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Tyrone Kenny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Cagle in the 16th minute of play. Austin Dickens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Austin Dickens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohnton's Tyrone Kenny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Dickens in the 33rd minute of play. If Fernando Malone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes of play, Anson AFC's Marcellus Paris made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tyrone Kenny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tyrone Kenny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Dickens in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After a defensive mix-up in Anson AFC's zone, Vince Luther stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thad Avery came out of the goal and Vince Luther tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Malone might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thad Avery. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Malone ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62ndth minute of the game Fernando Malone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anson AFC's Thad Avery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Austin Dickens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Tyrone Kenny made a huge save. Marcellus Paris's late challenge caught a Mohnton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcellus Paris helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Anson AFC's Marcellus Paris got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Marcellus Paris was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 81st match minute, Anson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcellus Paris to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Anson AFC's Ed Chung got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Travis Quintero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thad Avery showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Mohnton getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fernando Malone hit a great ball. Austin Dickenss short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Tyrone Kenny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Fernando Malone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd match minute, Anson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Cagle to maneuver through the defense. Thad Avery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Malone, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Mohnton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anson AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Anson AFC.
