Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Curt Finch started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Curt Finch came free, but Felipe Coronado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Nelson Pineda notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elkhorn's Felipe Coronado. Felipe Coronado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jared Cody got free with Dan Savage in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Frankie Elmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ALBEAGLES FC's Leif Street got a free kick in the 35th minute. Junior Curran, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, ALBEAGLES FC's Maxwell Street got a free kick in the 37th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Logan Stockton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Curt Finch came free, but Felipe Coronado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Logan Stockton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Curt Finch managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALBEAGLES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Curt Finch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Coronado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Curt Finch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ALBEAGLES FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Oliver McManus hit a great ball. Elkhorn's Felipe Coronado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curt Finch in the 93rd minute of play. After 96 minutes, George Benitez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elkhorn and the ALBEAGLES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, George Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ALBEAGLES FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
