After 35 played minutes Znojmo City got a freekick which was hit by Larry Crane. Nelson Pineda scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Errol Jeffers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Curt Finch struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Errol Jeffers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALBEAGLES FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curt Finch made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Znojmo City got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Silver. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Silver in the 55th minute of play forced ALBEAGLES FC's goalkeeper Dan Savage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rufus Ham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Savage having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Frankie Elmore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALBEAGLES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Znojmo City the free kick. In the 76th minute, Frankie Elmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Znojmo City fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Znojmo City's Timmy Silver looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
