Woodrow Cadena started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, ZANGEZUR's Felipe Coronado threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eddy Crum, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute of the match, Eddy Crum tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felipe Coronado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Woodrow Cadena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Woodrow Cadena got free with Felipe Coronado in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddy Crum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Coronado having to make a save. Eddy Crum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Felipe Coronado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Coronado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Woodrow Cadena in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Crum came free, but Felipe Coronado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Crum in the 40th minute of play forced Elkhorn's goalkeeper Felipe Coronado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harvey Bloom scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lawrence Pack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

ZANGEZUR made a substitution. Vicente Bassett replaced Eddy Crum. In the 56th minute, Woodrow Cadena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZANGEZUR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Elkhorn's Felipe Coronado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Woodrow Cadena in the 59th minute of play. Felipe Coronado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Woodrow Cadena, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Elkhorn's Felipe Coronado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Bassett in the 65th minute of play. ZANGEZUR's Sonny McKay was substituted for DeAngelo Sherrill. The supporters of Elkhorn booed when ZANGEZUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny McKay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Vicente Bassett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Coronado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Harvey Bloom was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. The supporters of ZANGEZUR booed when Elkhorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Bloom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Vicente Bassett notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Elkhorn's Felipe Coronado. Felipe Coronado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute Vicente Bassett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Coronado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Bassett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 99 minutes into the game, ZANGEZUR's Vicente Bassett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Coronado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ZANGEZUR fully deserved thier win.
