Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Houston Howell took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Don Mills was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mercer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eagar FC the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Mercer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Mills to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Stjohn in the 7th minute of play forced Mercer's goalkeeper Bryan Daley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Brown received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryan Daley came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Brown slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Mercer's goalkeeper Bryan Daley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Houston Howell. 19 minutes into the match, Jerome Stjohn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bryan Daley, 2-0. When Houston Howell came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Eagar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Houston Howell couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neal Chaney in the 24th minute of play forced Eagar FC's goalkeeper Bill Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerry Strickland got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Brown. Mercer's Bryan Daley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Brown in the 35th minute of play. Mercer's Rodrigo Craft managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jerry Strickland in the 40 minute of the game. Bryan Daley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Brown in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Mercer's Bryan Daley got control of the ball when Houston Howell tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Houston Howell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bryan Daley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Bryan Daley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houston Howell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Brown fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Daley having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Eagar FC's goalkeeper Bill Ramsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Chaney. Wesley Herndon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Ramsey having to interfere. 70 minutes in the game Jerry Strickland did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alex Brown. In the 71st minute, Houston Howell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eagar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Bryan Daley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Houston Howell in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Mercer's goal looked a bit too open when Houston Howell came free, but Bryan Daley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Eagar FC booed when Mercer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darin Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Herndon scored 4-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bill Ramsey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Eagar FC's goalkeeper Bill Ramsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Chaney. In the 89th minute, Houston Howell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bryan Daley was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 94 minutes into the match, Mercer's goal looked a bit too open when Houston Howell came free, but Bryan Daley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mercer defense, Alex Brown kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryan Daley. The Mercer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryan Daley should have stopped the shot. Eagar FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
