Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hunter Zavala kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Diego Minas's goalkeeper Guilherme Lage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnoldo Major blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Lage having to make a save. 6 minutes into the game, Englewood FC's Hunter Zavala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Lage made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, San Diego Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Hunter Zavala came free, but Guilherme Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Marlin Woodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garret Goff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Warren Starnes got free with Garret Goff in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Englewood FC's zone, Warren Starnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garret Goff came out of the goal and Warren Starnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arnoldo Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hunter Zavala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Englewood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marlin Woodall came free, but Garret Goff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, San Diego Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Major came free, but Guilherme Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Warren Starnes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the San Diego Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Warren Starnes couldn't finish the play. If Marlin Woodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Marlin Woodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garret Goff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Englewood FC's goalkeeper Garret Goff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Warren Starnes. Arnoldo Major charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Major the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Englewood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Major to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Arnoldo Major got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnoldo Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Lage having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Marlin Woodall managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Diego Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marlin Woodall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garret Goff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garret Goff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marlin Woodall, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Warren Starnes scored 2-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garret Goff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marlin Woodall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes San Diego Minas got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Conroy. Warren Starnes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Garret Goff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Diego Minas. 88 minutes into the match, Englewood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marlin Woodall came free, but Garret Goff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlin Woodall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Garret Goff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Marlin Woodall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Diego Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marlin Woodall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, San Diego Minas's Marlin Woodall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garret Goff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Englewood FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Diego Minas.
