The crowd rose to their feet as Maksymilian Chowaniec kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving DeMarcus Peoples. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Corning FC's goal looked a bit too open when Whitney Wong came free, but Valdo Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, one of GKS Łapsze Niżne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GKS Łapsze Niżne. Homer Metzger struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Valdo Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Łapsze Niżne. Valdo Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Slaughter in the 33rd minute of the match.
