Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cary Allen kicked off to start the match. Gregory Neal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cary Allen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Newark Athletic Club's Gregory Neal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Newark Athletic Club from getting a goal against them. Redford's Timmy Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Myles Cano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregory Neal came out and tried to block the shot, but Myles Cano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Ramiro Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Welsh having to interfere. Gregory Neal made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Cary Allen sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cary Allen in the 27th minute of play forced Newark Athletic Club's goalkeeper Gregory Neal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Newark Athletic Club's Reyes Huff got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregory Neal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cary Allen in the 31st minute. Gregory Neal came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Redford's Myles Cano. But to his dismay, Myles Cano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Newark Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Herrera came free, but Gregory Neal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reyes Huff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute of the match, Cary Allen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gregory Neal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reyes Huff was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Redford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Jacobs to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Newark Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Hanson. Gregory Neal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cary Allen in the 56th minute of play. Newark Athletic Club's Gregory Neal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cary Allen in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy Herrera in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Neal saved Newark Athletic Club from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Herrera in the 67th minute of play forced Newark Athletic Club's goalkeeper Gregory Neal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cary Allen scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregory Neal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 77th play minutes Reyes Huff shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Todd Welsh and just under the crossbar into goal. Ian Cook hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gregory Neal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Herrera in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Thaddeus Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redford's supporters rose to their feet, but Thaddeus Stevens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Neal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
