Glenn Swaratsingh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Gooljar in the 9th minute of the match. Moruga's Sundar Montano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Moruga from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Steve Magloire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sundar Montano. Steve Magloire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Steve Walcott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Sundar Montano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Sherwin Ramgoonai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steve Magloire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Steve Walcott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tibures del oriente booed when Moruga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevaughn Wolfe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Ronnie Gooljar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tibures del oriente's Glenn Swaratsingh. Glenn Swaratsingh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moruga's Sundar Montano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Moruga from getting a goal against them. Steve Walcott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sundar Montano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Walcott in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Steve Walcott lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Sundar Montano.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sherwin Ramgoonai to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Mustapha Davidson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sundar Montano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kevaughn Wolfe charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevaughn Wolfe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kevaughn Wolfe hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Sundar Montano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Magloire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenn Swaratsingh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherwin Ramgoonai in the 69th minute of play. Devant Hunt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sundar Montano. Moruga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Tibures del oriente's Steve Walcott made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sundar Montano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronnie Gooljar got free with Glenn Swaratsingh in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sundar Montano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Magloire in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tibures del oriente's David Logie got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Bert Dookeran sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tibures del oriente's Glenn Swaratsingh didn't even have to move. 89 minutes into the match, Moruga's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Walcott came free, but Sundar Montano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Steve Walcott came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Tibures del oriente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Walcott couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Moruga booed when Tibures del oriente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustapha Davidson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
