Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nizar Winchester got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Navet getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Wintley Head Son hit a great ball. Neil Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nizar Winchester in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Roaring Corneal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oropune Village FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roaring Corneal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neil Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 10 minutes, Nizar Winchester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oropune Village FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nizar Winchester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roaring Corneal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Neil Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nizar Winchester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Navet booed when Oropune Village FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Orminston Abdulah didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Springer in the 21st minute of play forced Oropune Village FC's goalkeeper Roger Hamilton-Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennox Ramdial during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lennox Ramdial kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Navet's Lennox Ramdial made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Hamilton-Holder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neil Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roaring Corneal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Navet booed when Oropune Village FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reyad Belasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Tim Chamberlain sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oropune Village FC's Roger Hamilton-Holder didn't even have to move. Lennox Ramdial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Roger Hamilton-Holder made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jason Springer was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roaring Corneal during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roaring Corneal kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Nizar Winchester recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Neil Thomas. Nizar Winchester showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Nizar Winchester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nizar Winchester came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Oropune Village FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nizar Winchester couldn't finish the play. Nizar Winchester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Thomas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nizar Winchester in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neil Thomas saved Navet from getting behind. In the 96th minute Lennox Ramdial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Hamilton-Holder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Navet support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
