In the 8th minute, Navet's Jason Springer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bas Mathur. Bas Mathur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Neil Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Gopee-Scoon, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Khaleem Manning shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Neil Thomas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Permanand Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennox Ramdial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Bas Mathur made a huge save. In the 26th minute of the match, Jason Springer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bas Mathur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 30 minutes into the match, Navet's goal looked a bit too open when Permanand Abraham came free, but Neil Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Drupatee Duke during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Drupatee Duke hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Harold Glasgow kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Lennox Ramdial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Bas Mathur made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Gopee-Scoon in the 37th minute of play forced Navet's goalkeeper Neil Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennox Ramdial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bas Mathur having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jason Springer made a kick off. Neil Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Permanand Abraham, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Edgar Gopee-Scoon put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Neil Thomas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennox Ramdial in the 60th minute of play forced Delaford Falcons's goalkeeper Bas Mathur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Permanand Abraham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Navet's zone, Permanand Abraham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neil Thomas came out of the goal and Permanand Abraham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edgar Gopee-Scoon came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Delaford Falcons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Gopee-Scoon couldn't finish the play. If Lennox Ramdial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jason Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lennox Ramdial came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Navet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennox Ramdial couldn't finish the play. If Lennox Ramdial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Permanand Abraham had several of the Navet's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Neil Thomas as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Delaford Falcons players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
