The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stokely Savary stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Piarco Falcons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Andrew Cipriani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seon Fabien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wintley Simmons having to interfere. Wintley Simmons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ansil Abraham, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Buen Intento Village's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
