Manny Alleyne hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. George Maxwell Kallipersad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gerald Solomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lionel Assoon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Solomon having to interfere. In the 10th minute Bertie Commissiong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tishan Gooljar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Black Rock SC's Denesh Le Gendre got a free kick in the 10th minute. Gerald Solomon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Assoon in the 13th minute of the match. Bertie Commissiong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tishan Gooljar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertie Commissiong in the 22nd minute of play forced Black Rock SC's goalkeeper Tishan Gooljar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Digo DareDevils's Gerald Solomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Assoon in the 24th minute of play. George Maxwell Kallipersad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lionel Assoon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Glasgow during the 32nd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Solomon Anwar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Digo DareDevils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Solomon Anwar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Solomon Anwar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Black Rock SC's Michael Glasgow got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Bertie Commissiong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertie Commissiong was the one to do the kick off. Lionel Assoon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornell Achong kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel Assoon got free with Gerald Solomon in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lionel Assoon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornell Achong hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If George Maxwell Kallipersad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tishan Gooljar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Solomon Anwar in the 78th minute of play. The referee showed Cornell Achong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Digo DareDevils's Cornell Achong got a free kick in the 87th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Digo DareDevils were victorious despite being under pressure from Black Rock SC for much of the match.
