Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Standiford String Band sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Standiford String Band had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Orange Valley Fire's Sherwin Emrit got a free kick in the 18th minute. Occah Daaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Clyde Chambers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Leslie's late challenge caught a Orange Valley Fire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Leslie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Dennis Leslie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raffique Mannette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basdeo Mohammed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Standiford String Band, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Standiford String Band who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Basdeo Mohammed when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Rudolph Cipriani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stephen Thompson made the kick off in the second half. Lewis Baldeosingh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Chambers having to interfere. Chaguanas Strikers's Clyde Chambers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Chaguanas Strikers from getting a goal against them. In the 56th match minute, Chaguanas Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Sinanan to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, Chaguanas Strikers's Standiford String Band made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basdeo Mohammed was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Lewis Baldeosingh made a precise shot to the right of Clyde Chambers. Chaguanas Strikers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Clyde Chambers was a little too slow when Occah Daaga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 76th minute, Natasha Badree ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basdeo Mohammed was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 88thth minute of the game Standiford String Band who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orange Valley Fire's Basdeo Mohammed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Krishna Bednob managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaguanas Strikers's supporters rose to their feet, but Krishna Bednob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basdeo Mohammed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orange Valley Fire's Basdeo Mohammed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Standiford String Band in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Krishna Bednob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basdeo Mohammed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chaguanas Strikers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
