The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sugar Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Leslie in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Scarborough Town's goal looked a bit too open when Natasha Badree came free, but Sugar Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sugar Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Standiford String Band, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Scarborough Town's goal looked a bit too open when Krishna Bednob came free, but Sugar Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Scarborough Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solomon Achong to maneuver through the defense. Sugar Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natasha Badree in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Solomon Achong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scarborough Town's Sugar Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Standiford String Band in the 21st minute of play. Raffique Mannette scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sugar Robinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Scarborough Town's Sugar Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Standiford String Band in the 26th minute of play. Solomon Achong hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chaguanas Strikers getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Krishna Bednob hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Scarborough Town's Ronnie Voisin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clyde Chambers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Scarborough Town's Sugar Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krishna Bednob in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Raffique Mannette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sugar Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Scarborough Town defense, Standiford String Band kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sugar Robinson. The Scarborough Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sugar Robinson should have stopped the shot. Sugar Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Standiford String Band, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Scarborough Town getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dansam Ros hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Standiford String Band in the 47th minute of play forced Scarborough Town's goalkeeper Sugar Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Scarborough Town's Sugar Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Scarborough Town from getting a goal against them. Trent Jai hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Chaguanas Strikers's Natasha Badree nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sugar Robinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 64 minutes into the game, Standiford String Band cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sugar Robinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Scarborough Town's Sugar Robinson got control of the ball when Krishna Bednob tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sugar Robinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Standiford String Band's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes Scarborough Town got a freekick which was hit by Subhas Persaud. In the 73rd minute Standiford String Band shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sugar Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scarborough Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Raffique Mannette scored to the left of an out of position Sugar Robinson, making the score, 0-5. Scarborough Town's Sugar Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Scarborough Town from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Surujrattan Baboolal in the 80th minute of play forced Chaguanas Strikers's goalkeeper Clyde Chambers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sugar Robinson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chaguanas Strikers's Standiford String Band. But to his dismay, Standiford String Band quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Sugar Robinson was a little too slow when Krishna Bednob got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-7. Sugar Robinson was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Standiford String Band capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Standiford String Band really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Chaguanas Strikers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Scarborough Town.
