An unexpectedly hard shot by Etxeberri Corada in the 21st minute of play forced Ybytymi's goalkeeper Bernard Rugama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierres Fontao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Rugama having to interfere. Breogan Sendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Videl Arbulo having to interfere. Cordarrel Lazaeta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ybytymi booed when Canandero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Barcenilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Sandaili Borges sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Videl Arbulo skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ybytymi's Cordarrel Lazaeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Videl Arbulo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Etxeberri Corada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Canandero AFC's goalkeeper Videl Arbulo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Ybytymi's Sandaili Borges to fire away a dangerous shot which Videl Arbulo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Etxeberri Corada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bernard Rugama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Etxeberri Corada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canandero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Etxeberri Corada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Rugama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Etxeberri Corada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Rugama having to interfere. Pierres Fontao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Canandero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrel Lazaeta came free, but Videl Arbulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierres Fontao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Canandero AFC's goalkeeper Videl Arbulo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breogan Sendin. 74 minutes into the match, Canandero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrel Lazaeta came free, but Videl Arbulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Videl Arbulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordarrel Lazaeta's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Pierres Fontao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Rugama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Ybytymi getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gonsalve Talaya hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
