Natanael Solarriba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierres Fontao went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacindo Arvelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Ihacanguazu FC's goalkeeper Natanael Solarriba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierres Fontao. In the 67th minute of the match, Etxeberri Corada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Natanael Solarriba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Ihacanguazu FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Canandero AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Canandero AFC.
