With a little luck, Catan's Geronimo Juarez got control of the ball when Gelmiro Ledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Catan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gelmiro Ledo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Geronimo Juarez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Baudelio Aranda hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Txilar Berrondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Juarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. If Frechoso Fidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frechoso Fidalgo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Sazon Argoños sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Riguera skillfully saved the ball. Frechoso Fidalgo succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 61 minutes into the game, Lohitzun Moiselo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yataity AFC the free kick. The supporters of Yataity AFC booed when Catan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lohitzun Moiselo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Juarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frechoso Fidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Yataity AFC's Romeo Riguera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Yataity AFC from getting a goal against them. Geronimo Juarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frechoso Fidalgo in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Baudelio Aranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Felix Velastegui shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Juarez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frechoso Fidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niolaao Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Riguera having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Yataity AFC's Frechoso Fidalgo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Juarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baudelio Aranda was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Baudelio Aranda kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Catan's goal looked a bit too open when Frechoso Fidalgo came free, but Geronimo Juarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelmiro Ledo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Geronimo Juarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yataity AFC. Geronimo Juarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frechoso Fidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Juarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelmiro Ledo in the 89th minute of the match. Romeo Riguera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oxarra Banzo. 93 minutes into the match, Catan's goal looked a bit too open when Gelmiro Ledo came free, but Geronimo Juarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Gelmiro Ledo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Catan's Geronimo Juarez. Geronimo Juarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Yataity AFC fully deserved thier win.
