In the 16th minute, Curcio Davila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th of the match, Urbasa Tixido tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ekhi Dragana got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ursino Guizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Pombo having to interfere. Urbasa Tixido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lawrence Pombo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ursino Guizabal in the 24th minute of the match. Pedrozo FC's Lawrence Pombo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ursino Guizabal in the 27th minute of play. Ekhi Dragana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urbasa Tixido's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Urbasa Tixido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ursino Guizabal took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lawrence Pombo. Lawrence Pombo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lawrence Pombo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ursino Guizabal's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiberto Pando during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filiberto Pando hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbasa Tixido was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Pedrozo FC were awarded a corner. Marcial Fito went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Marcial Fito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ortiz FC's Ekhi Dragana did a great save. After a rather tough play, Pedrozo FC's Marcial Fito got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Curcio Davila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curcio Davila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ekhi Dragana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lawrence Pombo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ursino Guizabal in the 72nd minute. When Ivon Taviel came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ortiz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivon Taviel couldn't finish the play. Ursino Guizabal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Lawrence Pombo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ortiz FC. Ekhi Dragana came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Pedrozo FC's Curcio Davila. But to his dismay, Curcio Davila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 83 minutes into the game, Urbasa Tixido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ekhi Dragana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Flavio Villamizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Oriche Loayza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedrozo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ortiz FC the free kick.
