Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Wilkin Salazar hit a great ball. Leonardo Montañas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Clemente Zamora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roque Cardozo, 1-0. If Humberto Willick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Montañas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Parra saved Azua from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goalkeeper Roque Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Willick. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Balduino Ulibarri hit a great ball. Freddy Zepeda , 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 33 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Balduino Ulibarri. Roque Cardozo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Freddy Zepeda . When Azua's Clemente Zamora in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Pinar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Apolinar Centeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Zamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Montañas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Azua's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Montañas came free, but Rodrigo Parra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Roque Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Humberto Willick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Humberto Willick came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Azua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Willick couldn't finish the play. Humberto Willick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Clemente Zamora put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roque Cardozo. 84 minutes into the game, Jack Cerilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Pinar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azua the free kick. Jack Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Zamora in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balduino Ulibarri was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Balduino Ulibarri kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Azua booed when El Pinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yordany Benítez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Willick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Roque Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jack Cerilo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Jack Cerilo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Pinar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Freddy Zepeda was slow to take the kick. During this time Azua's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Emilio Ferrer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Pinar's Roque Cardozo did a great save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Azua had played much better football throughout.
