Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Azua's Clemente Zamora started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Duarte got a freekick which was hit by Bartolomé Minaya. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Zamora in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Del Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Humberto Willick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Parra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Minaya in the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Willick got free with Octavio Del Rio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Hernando Carrión notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Azua's Rodrigo Parra. Rodrigo Parra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Clemente Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Del Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Del Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Zamora in the 22nd minute of the match. Humberto Willick struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Octavio Del Rio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azua. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomé Minaya in the 34th minute of play forced Azua's goalkeeper Rodrigo Parra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Bartolomé Minaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Parra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Humberto Willick's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Octavio Del Rio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Bartolomé Minaya made the kick off in the second half. When Clemente Zamora came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Azua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Zamora couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Azua's goalkeeper Rodrigo Parra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernando Carrión. The supporters of Duarte booed when Azua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Iturralde didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Azua's goalkeeper Rodrigo Parra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernando Carrión. 64 minutes into the match, Duarte's Bartolomé Minaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Parra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octavio Del Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Hernando Carrión cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rodrigo Parra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavio Del Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Willick in the 82nd minute of the match. Clemente Zamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso Iturralde took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Del Rio. Octavio Del Rio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
