Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omar Orellana took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Cristobal FC's Eleuterio Rincón got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Omar Orellana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arsenio Pantoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eleuterio Rincón fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cristobal FC's protests and gave Eleuterio Rincón a yellow card for diving instead. If Patrick Rael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Pantoja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Rincón in the 32nd minute of play. During the 36th minute of the match Angel Rubio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angel Rubio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Angel Rubio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Postrer Rio got a corner. Cristobal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clemente Fuentes ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 41st minute Arquímedes Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Pantoja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arquímedes Molina in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Pantoja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arsenio Pantoja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arquímedes Molina in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Rael made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Arquímedes Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cristobal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arquímedes Molina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Omar Orellana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Postrer Rio got a freekick which was hit by Neifi Márquez. Arquímedes Molina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Arsenio Pantoja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arquímedes Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Cristobal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Rael came free, but Edgar Arbizu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arquímedes Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arsenio Pantoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arquímedes Molina succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 74th playminute. 78 minutes into the match, Arquímedes Molina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Pantoja. Postrer Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arquímedes Molina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Julio Vela kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Nestor Heureaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Cristobal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Heureaux came free, but Edgar Arbizu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Cristobal FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Rincón. Cristobal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
