Ciriaco Smith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Celino Alcántara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ciriaco Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mao AC's Celino Alcántara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Mao AC from getting a goal against them. If Narciso Corral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Corral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Celino Alcántara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Delfines del Este F.C fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Delfines del Este F.C's Ciriaco Smith looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 21 minutes, Ciriaco Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delfines del Este F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Domingo Gasol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Calderón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfines del Este F.C's Héctor Calderón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Gasol in the 26th minute of play. Ciriaco Smith succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Ciriaco Smith received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celino Alcántara came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciriaco Smith slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. In the 45th of the match, Ciriaco Smith tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Celino Alcántara got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Domingo Gasol came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mao AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Gasol couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Héctor Calderón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Serrat in the 53rd minute of play. Celino Alcántara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Smith in the 57th minute of play. Sammy Serrat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Domingo Gasol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Corral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celino Alcántara having to make a save. When Huberto Montaño fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mao AC's protests and gave Huberto Montaño a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Mao AC got a freekick which was hit by Huberto Montaño. When Ciriaco Smith came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Delfines del Este F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Smith couldn't finish the play. Ciriaco Smith scored 4-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celino Alcántara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ciriaco Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celino Alcántara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Corral, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
