Ahmet Emir Demirci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Villarreal having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Ahmet Emir Demirci made a precise shot to the right of Robert Villarreal. Salcedo UC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Anselmo Alcott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Alcott in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Salcedo UC defense, Ahmet Emir Demirci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Villarreal. The Salcedo UC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Villarreal should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Salcedo UC's Robert Villarreal got control of the ball when Ahmet Emir Demirci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adnan Menderes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Villarreal came out and tried to block the shot, but Adnan Menderes slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. Robert Villarreal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Menderes in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Salcedo UC's goalkeeper Robert Villarreal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Emir Demirci. In the 39th match minute, Salcedo UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leoncio Vera to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Salcedo UC's zone, Adnan Menderes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Villarreal came out of the goal and Adnan Menderes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Ahmet Emir Demirci elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Alcott was the one to do the kick off. If Timothy Paré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Ahmet Emir Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Villarreal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Emir Demirci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Villarreal having to interfere. If Ahmet Emir Demirci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Máximo Cedeño kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ahmet Emir Demirci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Villarreal having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Salcedo UC got a freekick which was hit by Yorkis Armijo. After some careless play in the Salcedo UC defense, Adnan Menderes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Villarreal. The Salcedo UC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Villarreal should have stopped the shot. When Las Terrenas's Adnan Menderes in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salcedo UC's goalie prevented a goal. Las Terrenas's Bonifacio Yáñez was substituted for Jeremias Molinos. Salcedo UC's Robert Villarreal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adnan Menderes in the 75th minute of play. Ahmet Emir Demirci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Villarreal having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Salcedo UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yorkis Armijo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Adnan Menderes sped through Salcedo UC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robert Villarreal. Ahmet Emir Demirci struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Robert Villarreal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Terrenas. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Las Terrenas fully deserved thier win.
