A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Salcedo UC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Frederik came free, but Robert Villarreal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Leoncio Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Villarreal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Frederik in the 12th minute of play. Salcedo UC's Robert Villarreal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Gartzi in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Independencia CF booed when Salcedo UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Paré didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Villarreal came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Independencia CF's Amadeo Frederik. But to his dismay, Amadeo Frederik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Timothy Paré came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfonso Espinoza could save by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Anselmo Alcott dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfonso Espinoza, 1-3. Timothy Paré came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfonso Espinoza could save by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Anselmo Alcott made the kick off in the second half. If Amadeo Frederik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Villarreal was a little too slow when Amadeo Frederik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-4. Neifi Aranda hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Salcedo UC booed when Independencia CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Serrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Adalberto Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Espinoza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Anselmo Alcott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independencia CF's Alfonso Espinoza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Independencia CF's Alfonso Espinoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoncio Vera in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Independencia CF's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Paré came free, but Alfonso Espinoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leoncio Vera in the 94th minute of play. Independencia CF played a much better game than Salcedo UC and deserved their victory. The Salcedo UC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
