After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ahmed Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Bend's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmed Zidane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmoud Aboulker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, De Pere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jussef Ben Hemdani came free, but Mahmoud Aboulker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Pere FC's Hocine Amara got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Pere FC's goalkeeper Mahmoud Aboulker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmed Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Aboulker having to interfere. South Bend's Chadli Zouba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Assia Boumedienne in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of De Pere FC booed when South Bend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jussef Ben Hemdani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Ahmed Zidane notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of De Pere FC's Mahmoud Aboulker. Mahmoud Aboulker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Assia Boumedienne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Chadli Zouba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofiane Amri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chadli Zouba having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Mimoun Ouid Messaoud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Pere FC's Mahmoud Aboulker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mahmoud Aboulker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mimoun Ouid Messaoud in the 38th minute of the match. Assia Boumedienne struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Chadli Zouba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Pere FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sofiane Amri got free with Chadli Zouba in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Assia Boumedienne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, South Bend's Ahmed Zidane got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Assia Boumedienne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Mimoun Ouid Messaoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mimoun Ouid Messaoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Ahmed Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Bend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mimoun Ouid Messaoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Aboulker having to interfere. Mimoun Ouid Messaoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mahmoud Aboulker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. South Bend's Ahmed Zidane got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Assia Boumedienne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chadli Zouba having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. South Bend walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
