Wellston's Mohamed Benhamou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Laurent Liegeon in the 3rd minute of play. Mohamed Benhamou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir Meskine in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Mourad Boulebda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillaume Laurent Liegeon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mohamed Benhamou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nadir Meskine in the 13th minute of play forced Wellston's goalkeeper Mohamed Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Benhamou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Laurent Liegeon in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nadir Meskine in the 27th minute of play forced Wellston's goalkeeper Mohamed Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalida El-Ouafi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Said Aït Salem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jean-Baptiste Meskine fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elizabethtown AFC's protests and gave Jean-Baptiste Meskine a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Elizabethtown AFC's Jean-Baptiste Meskine got a free kick in the 37th minute. Nadir Meskine might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Benhamou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nadir Meskine ran back to his position shaking his head. Nadir Meskine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Benhamou having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Said Aït Salem made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Said Aït Salem put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Khalida El-Ouafi. Nadir Meskine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mohamed Benhamou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalida El-Ouafi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yacine Badis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match Souad Mamouni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed Benhamou skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yacine Badis in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalida El-Ouafi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohammed Ben Khalidi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes, Said Aït Salem made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Elizabethtown AFC's Khalida El-Ouafi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Khalida El-Ouafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Said Aït Salem, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Wellston's Yacine Badis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Khalida El-Ouafi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Elizabethtown AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Ben Khalidi. Wellston's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
