Karim Zahouania started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Karim Zahouania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fawzi Boufroura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maïssa Azem in the 15th minute of play forced Graysville's goalkeeper Fawzi Boufroura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Graysville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Bridji to maneuver through the defense. Santa Ynez's Abdelnacer Sami Yachir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Santa Ynez from getting a goal against them. Karim Zahouania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Maïssa Azem made a precise shot to the right of Fawzi Boufroura. Graysville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Graysville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karim Zahouania was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Abdelnacer Sami Yachir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abdelhani El Ouafi. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Zerguelaine to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ahmed Zerguelaine notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Santa Ynez's Abdelnacer Sami Yachir. Abdelnacer Sami Yachir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abdelnacer Sami Yachir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelnacer Laura Douibi in the 61st minute of the match. Abdelnacer Sami Yachir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Zerguelaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes, Assia Gallaire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Ynez and the Graysville players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Graysville booed when Santa Ynez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Assia Gallaire didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Santa Ynez supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santa Ynez would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
