After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ahmed Aït Salem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oak Hills AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmed Aït Salem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Michel Abdenouz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Grand Island AFC's Abdelaziz Rahouli got a free kick in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Oak Hills AFC's Salim Cohen-Tannoudji broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ahmed Aït Salem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jean-Michel Abdenouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Michel Abdenouz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmed Aït Salem went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. During the 41st minute of the match Abdelaziz Rahouli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abdelaziz Rahouli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Oak Hills AFC booed when Grand Island AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Rahouli didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ahmed Aït Salem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Benamar Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Robert Aït Salem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grand Island AFC's zone, Ahmed Aït Salem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Michel Abdenouz came out of the goal and Ahmed Aït Salem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Aït Salem had several of the Grand Island AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Jean-Michel Abdenouz as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th minute, Houari Souakri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes, Daho Hanister made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Grand Island AFC's Jean-Michel Abdenouz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benamar Fillali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grand Island AFC's Jean-Michel Abdenouz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Grand Island AFC from getting a goal against them. If Ahmed Aït Salem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Souad Khelaifia's late challenge caught a Grand Island AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Souad Khelaifia helped the player get up and apologised. Souad Khelaifia hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Abd al-Asis Sellal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Oak Hills AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
