Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lewistown FC's Djabir Bouteflika started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, one of Lewistown FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lewistown FC. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Wilburton FC. Hocine Ahmed stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Djura. 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Wilburton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammed Ahmed Ben Brahmi to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Abdelaziz Belfaa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Matmour skillfully saved the ball. Djabir Bouteflika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leon Matmour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djabir Bouteflika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Matmour having to interfere. Djabir Bouteflika received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leon Matmour came out and tried to block the shot, but Djabir Bouteflika slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lewistown FC's zone, Abdelnacer Zaaf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Djura came out of the goal and Abdelnacer Zaaf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ismaël Bensaoula came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Wilburton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismaël Bensaoula couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Badis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Matmour having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Abdelnacer Zaaf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Djura. Lewistown FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelnacer Zaaf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Djabir Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Ahmed Badis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 41 minutes into the match, Wilburton FC's goalkeeper Leon Matmour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Djabir Bouteflika. Ahmed Badis struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Leon Matmour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lewistown FC. After the first half Wilburton FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abdelnacer Zaaf made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Djura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelnacer Zaaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fodil Aribi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Abdelnacer Zaaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Matmour came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lewistown FC's Djabir Bouteflika. But to his dismay, Djabir Bouteflika quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 66 played minutes Wilburton FC got a freekick which was hit by Nourredine Meniri. Abdelaziz Belfaa struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Leon Matmour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lewistown FC. 75 minutes into the match, Djabir Bouteflika notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Wilburton FC's Leon Matmour. Leon Matmour was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ismaël Bensaoula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute.
