Abdelkader Nima was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Henry FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gridley:s goal. The goalkeeper, Mohammad Kaci Kharroubi, was totally fooled by Gridley's Halim Ihidjaten, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Hamza Malek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Abdelaziz Hadjadj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gridley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Abdelaziz Hadjadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gridley supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gridley would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
