Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bendjedid Lelouch started the match with the kick off. If Daho Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Smail Halimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Southold's Madhi Hadjadj tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute of the match Kasdi Teissier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hameur Matoub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Madjid Mehenni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hameur Matoub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Southold's Madjid Mehenni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hameur Matoub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bendjedid Lelouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Hocine Mezair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Khalida Abdi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Madjid Mehenni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Scotland Neck's Abdelnacer Laura Douibi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Abderaouf Bentaala fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scotland Neck's protests and gave Abderaouf Bentaala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28thth minute of the game Bendjedid Lelouch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southold's Khalida Abdi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Hocine Mezair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Scotland Neck's Abdelnacer Laura Douibi got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Madhi Hadjadj shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hameur Matoub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Madjid Mehenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hameur Matoub having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daho Ziani to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Daho Ziani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daho Ziani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daho Ziani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Madjid Mehenni made a precise shot to the right of Hameur Matoub. Scotland Neck's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Southold getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mohammad Bensaoula hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Scotland Neck's goalkeeper Hameur Matoub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Madjid Mehenni. Khalida Abdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Mezair in the 74th minute of play. Mohammad Bensaoula's late challenge caught a Scotland Neck's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammad Bensaoula helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Southold's Mohammad Bensaoula got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendjedid Lelouch in the 76th minute of play forced Southold's goalkeeper Khalida Abdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Bendjedid Lelouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hocine Mezair struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Khalida Abdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scotland Neck. When Bendjedid Lelouch came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Scotland Neck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bendjedid Lelouch couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bendjedid Lelouch in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalida Abdi saved Southold from getting behind. Hocine Mezair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bendjedid Lelouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Khalida Abdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hocine Mezair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Southold players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
