Karim Kerkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abd al-Asis Bouziane in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Silsbee AFC's Rachid Chebal got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute Antoine Abdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fateh Bitat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fateh Bitat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Antoine Abdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fateh Bitat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Karim Hima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Karim Kerkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. René Merbah hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Abdel Saci was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Silsbee AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rachid Chebal hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoine Abdi to make the kick off. Fateh Bitat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Merbah in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Silsbee AFC booed when Norton Shores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Hima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoine Abdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, one of Silsbee AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Karim Kerkar, was totally fooled by Norton Shores FC's Abdel Saci, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. René Merbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Norton Shores FC's goal looked a bit too open when René Merbah came free, but Fateh Bitat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Kerkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Hima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karim Kerkar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abd al-Asis Bouziane went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 92nd match minute, Norton Shores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasdi Bouziane to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 94 minutes, René Merbah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silsbee AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but René Merbah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Norton Shores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Dahar to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Norton Shores FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
