Abdellah Bencheikh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tedj Mehenni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tedj Mehenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 6 minutes of play, Kermit FC's Lounès Makkeb made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdellah Bencheikh was left in no man's land by his defense there! El Merbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelhamid Chebal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Abdel Karim Bencherif successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lounès Makkeb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Kermit FC got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Belkhadem. In the 24th minute Lounès Makkeb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdellah Bencheikh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdellah Bencheikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tedj Mehenni in the 26th minute of the match. El Merbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Mohammad Malek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdel Karim Bencherif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammad Malek in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lounès Makkeb in the 35th minute of play forced Shiprock FC's goalkeeper Abdellah Bencheikh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Tedj Mehenni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kermit FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tedj Mehenni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Shiprock FC booed when Kermit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youssef Bourebbou didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohammad Malek to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Kermit FC's Rachid Hemdani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdellah Bencheikh. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tedj Mehenni in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdellah Bencheikh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohammad Malek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shiprock FC's Abdellah Bencheikh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tedj Mehenni in the 71st minute of play. When Tedj Mehenni came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Kermit FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tedj Mehenni couldn't finish the play. Smail Khadra hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes, Smail Khadra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shiprock FC and the Kermit FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Smail Khadra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tedj Mehenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lounès Makkeb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Abdellah Bencheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Merbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
